Located on the site of a former chalk quarry, AHP were engaged by Bellway Homes to produce a working drawing package for the Ebbsfleet Cross (Phase 1) developments.

​

The scheme presented numerous design issues including significant controlled land raising works to infill the former quarry (including infill of disused tunnels to the former cement works adjacent to the site) and constraints associated with quarry cliffs/escarpments and construction close to railway lines.

The development comprised a mix of both houses and apartments with a range of unit typologies to provide a balanced response to local housing needs.

Following successful completion of the package, AHP were appointed to undertake RIBA Stage 4-5 works for Ebbsfleet Cross (Phase 2) development at the former cement works adjacent to the Phase 1 site.

The project was completed in late 2021.
