Matthew qualified as an Architect in 1997, working before, during and after for Kent County Council Architects, gaining broad experience in education and other public sector projects. Since moving to commercial practice in 2000, he has worked extensively with acute, primary and mental health NHS trusts, private healthcare providers, residential and commercial clients, culminating in two award-winning pre-school nurseries.

Within AHP, Matthew’s role is to apply his experience in design and cost-effective delivery to a wide range of projects, liaising between clients, contractors, industry disciplines and statutory bodies to develop schemes that best suit the client’s needs, recourses and aspirations, and which all parties can be proud of.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys the demands and delights of family life, theatre and books.
