Work continues to progress at the Ebbsfleet Cross Phase 2 development with the current phasing focusing on apartment Blocks A & B to the north-west of the site. The structure is primarily traditional masonry cavity wall construction but features a single storey reinforced concrete frame / transfer slab forming a shared podium deck. The frame has recently been completed and struck with brickwork now commencing.

Once completed, the development will transform the former Croxton and Garry chalk quarry into an attractive setting for 233 new homes. The eastern gateway to the site will provide an open space which supports informal play and a permanent wet SUDs pond enhanced by native wetland planting complete with a viewing deck to combine function with amenity.
