From Classroom to Practice: Joe's Work Experience Week in Lichfield

This week, Erasmus Darwin Academy student, Joe Bates has joined our Lichfield team for a work experience placement.

Joe, a 17-year-old student in his first year of 6th Form at Erasmus Darwin Academy in Lichfield, has a keen interest in architecture. He reached out to us to inquire about the possibility of a week-long work experience placement, hoping to gain insight into the field and its various aspects.

We have tasked him with the challenge of creating a house design for a specific plot of land. He is utilising AutoCAD and SketchUp for 3D visualisations, while also developing his skills in traditional sketching.

We asked Joe some questions to see if he could sum up his time at AHP.
