AHP have been appointed to provide full architectural services for the partial reconfiguration of the Ground Floor Outpatients Department at North Middlesex University Hospital. The reconfiguration will involve converting the discharge lounge and main Outpatients Department reception area to accommodate ophthalmic examination rooms, including one room large enough for Snellen eye tests.
Two examination bays within the Outpatients Department waiting area are to be converted to a paediatric waiting room/play area with soft furniture and play equipment. A new write-up room will also be formed adjacent to the OPD entrance providing touch-down office space for staff.
