Refurbishment of Salisbury Tower

AHP are acting as Lead Consultant on a project with Equans which involves the elevational refurbishment of a residential tower block, located in Ladywood, Birmingham.

The 20-storey tower block contains 116 flats, with around 6 flats on each floor. The building is a concrete frame structure with a mix of concrete panel and masonry to the external walls.

The elevational refurbishment of the tower block is part of the Birmingham City Council regeneration programme. The purpose of the refurbishment is to provide significant improvement to the thermal performance, energy efficiency and fire safety of the block whilst enhancing the visual appearance and aesthetic of the towers.

Construction works are currently on site and are expected to be completed within the third quarter of 2024.
