UCLH is one of the UK’s leading teaching hospitals. AHP were initially commissioned by the PFI FM provider to project manage a programme of scanner replacement projects throughout the hospital.

As well as delivering state of the art scanners, the Trust were keen that the units should be substantially re-modelled to provide much improved patient preparation areas that will overcome existing problems regarding patient privacy and safeguarding. The units maximised patient throughput, taking full advantage of the increased efficiency of the new scanner equipment.
